Star of Aphrodite

Hephaistio of Thebes writes that the Star of Aphrodite is the warrior goddess when she rises before the Sun (as the Morning Star) and she is the goddess of love when she rises after the Sun, thus being the Evening Star. He says that this belief comes from Sumerians, referring to Inanna as the Goddess of Love and War.

The Star of Aprodite has completed her retrograde phase. She bathed in the Underworld, under the beams of the Sun and now she is coming back to us, regaining her direct motion.

She is now the Morning Star, Goddess of War, Pallas Athena. Athena is also related to Intellect, mental capabilities and the energetic snakes in the human body, some call them kundalini. We are now in the morning mood, being awake and active. We will be looking to rest and sensual magic when she wears her night gown, becoming the Evening Star.

Currently there are 30 degrees between Venus and the Sun, this is a very high distance for Venus. She is now away from the scorching heat and undenaible authority of the Sun. She is free and playing her own song. She is strongest today and this week, also in the sign where she expresses herself fully and completely: Libra. She is the Queen of the Realm of Libra.

In the Hellenic Astrology terms she is now also the Spear-Bearer of the Sun, being the planet who rises before the Sun. She is the only planet that rises from the Sun these days, even the Moon is not visible after midnight.

Star of Aphrodite is not getting any challenging aspects from any planets except the God of the Heavens Uranos, from whence she came 😉 Venus-Uranus contacts, I find them strange, for Aphrodite was born directly out of the Sea where Uranos’ groins fell.

In Greek, Uranos means Sky or Heaven.
